| Comments about this property Wonderful second stay at Brockstone. Fantastic cottage in an amazing get away from it all location. Cottage had everything you need for a week away,and very cosy especially the wood burner, which we appreciated with the wet week we had! Communications with Sue were straightforward and Sue was quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you also for the bottle of wine you left us. |

| Tips for other travellers Tweedies in Grasmere was lovely, really dog friendly. Had breakfast in the disused church( opposite Herdy uk), before we left food was great, very dog friendly too. Coffin route from the cottage door was lovely, combined with a visit to Rydal Hall, the Badger Bar for lunch( worth checking their live Badger cam in the evening) then back along Rydal water. May Half Term Special offer- last minute availability The guests who booked the week 27 May to 3 June (a year in advance!) have had to change their dates, so we now have this week available, and we’ve reduced the rate to £998. And, a special offer for the week 3-10 June- now just £898. The bluebells will be over by the end of May- you could book for 2024!
Come in May for the Rhododendrons and azaleas. June is wonderful too !  Hawthorne Blossom
