Four of our guests last weekend completed all 214 of the “Wainwright walks”. One of the ladies had decided on her 50th birthday that she wanted to make a point of walking every fell in every book, and on Sunday they did walk 214, Crinkle Crags in the Langdales.

The weather was good, and a bottle of champagne in the sun in White Moss garden marked the end of a great campaign!
