We’ve removed the existing fireplace, excavated and found this lovely slate lintel and the original fire space- probably about 200 years old. Into this we’ve put a great log burner. It’s a new look but an old look . New curtains too…
The old fireplace has gone, and behind it we have found an old lintel and fireplace. There is now a wonderful log burner cosy!
